Christmas Gift Guide – Luxury and High End Beauty

Hello everybody and welcome back to blogmas! Today I’m starting my gift guide blog posts, so this week I’m going to post a few gift guides to help you find some inspiration on what to get for the people who already have everything. I know some of you will already have all your presents sorted but there will be some of you still looking (I am one of these people, like I have no presents bought yet oops). Today’s gift guide is going to tackle high-end beauty products, so if you have a beauty lover in your life and you have a slightly larger budget or just feeling a bit spendy hopefully you’ll find some inspiration.

So first up is makeup palettes. You really can’t go wrong with an eyeshadow palette when looking for a gift for a beauty addict. There is something to suit every style but my favourites are the Urban Decay Naked palettes (in particular the Naked Heat), the Laura Gellar Iconic New York Collection palette in New York and the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. These palettes are all beautiful and would make a lovely gift. If you are looking for something a little smaller I would highly recommend the Kat Von D shade and light eyeshadow trios.

Perfume is also a great gift to give. It’s definitely one of those things you wouldn’t normally buy yourself so it’s perfect this time of year! At the end of the day perfume all comes down to the individual taste of the person you are buying for but I can definitely recommend some perfumes that I am loving at the moment to get you started. If you are looking for more of a sweet scent I would highly recommend Prada Candy or  Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. These perfumes are beautiful and they last all day, and although they are very sweet, they aren’t too sweet. Gucci Guilty is another great perfume, it’s more of a deep scent compared to the other two but again I would highly recommend it. This time of year brands tend to come out with gift sets containing a couple of products so I would definitely keep an eye out for those because they make lovely gifts.
Lipstick sets are also great gift ideas. Obviously I have to mention the Kylie Cosmetics lip kits. I love these, I got one for Christmas last year and not gonna lie I was way too excited about it! Lip kits are a great idea and you could even make your own, pick any lipstick of your choice (my favourite brands include Urban Decay and Kat Von D), add a matching lip liner and you’re ready to go!

Finally makeup brush sets are great to give, again brushes are things people don’t tend to buy for themselves and although pricey, good quality brushes really do make a difference to your makeup game. Many brands already do brush sets but since they tend to get very pricey very quickly depending on your budget you could always create your own set by picking out two or three brushes. My favourite brands are MAC, Urban Decay, Sigma and Morphe.

So that’s my gift guide for luxury and high-end beauty products, as always if you have any ideas that I haven’t mentioned please leave a comment and let us know. Thank you very much for reading and I will see you all tomorrow for my second gift guide, bye x
