My fave Disneyland Paris Photo spots

If you, like myself, are one of those people who like to take photos when in the parks and are on a constant hunt for the perfect photo spot, then this post is for you. I’d like to think I know Disneyland Paris like the back of my hand and over the years I have discovered the best tips and tricks for that perfect photo. Shall we start with the perfect castle photo?

Now if you don’t quite fancy waiting behind after the fireworks at the end of the night for most of the park to clear, or if you don’t want a photo with a million people in the background, then I have two alternatives for you for that perfect castle photo, so you can tell all your friends ‘look, I’m in a Disney park!’ The first is a little more well known than the other and that is to head to the left of the bridge. So say you are directly in front of the castle, you have a little bridge in front of you taking you up to the entrance, we’re going to ignore that, instead head to the left, there’s a little alcove there where you can take your photos in front of the castle with minimal people around. The second spot is for those who want a slightly different view of the castle. For this we are going to turn right at the bridge and walk all the way around to where the side stage is. Opposite the stage is a raised viewing platform (I’m assuming this is for priority viewing of shows etc.) anyway, you want to pop up onto that and you get a perfect castle view!

My next favourite photo spot (and my personal favourite) works best during extra magic time and that’s at the exit to Phantom Manor. Head to the bit next to the main entrance, where you would rejoin Frontierland, from the path up to boot hill and the exit of phantom manor. Since there aren’t usually loads of people walking around that area, other than people exiting the ride or people waiting for the ride to open during extra magic time, you can get a photo with phantom manor in the background with few to no one else around, which is perfect for those spooky outfit pics!

Now if you are sitting scrolling on Instagram and you see all these people taking photos with those cool walls as backgrounds over in Disney World and you think ‘hey does DLP have anything like that?’ they do now! If you jump on over to the Walt Disney Studios park and walk down to Toy Story Playland there are two Toy Story themed photo walls there which are the most fun! One has Buzz Lightyear’s wings, the other has the Toy Story aliens with the claw machine. You also have a Cars themed one down where the new Cars road trip ride is.

Those are just a few of my favourites but of course there are loads, loads more. What are your favourite Disney photo spots? Let’s have a chat about it in the comments. Thank you so much for reading, I’ll see you all next time!
